Hospice of Decatur County
The office of Hospice of Decatur County was established in the fall of 1991 when an agreement was signed with Decatur County Memorial Hospital to help coordinate Hospice services in the Decatur County area. In early 1994, an advisory committee comprised of area community leaders was formed to help advise and promote Hospice of Decatur County. In June of 1994, an annual golf tournament was first held to raise funds for patients and families served by Hospice of Decatur County.
Because of continued growth of the program, the office was moved over the years to larger office locations, and today Hospice of Decatur County is located at 1201 North Lincoln Street, Greensburg, Indiana. In 2009, Hospice of Decatur County served over 178 patients and provided bereavement services to more than 294 family members.
