What Services are Offered
Hospice professionals and volunteers are specially trained and dedicated to provide skilled medical and supportive care.
Services include, but are not limited to the following:
- Physician directed care
- Pain and symptom control
- Skilled nursing visits
- Health aides to assist with personal care
- Coordination of medical equipment and supplies
- 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week on call nurse availability
- Patient/family education and instructions on care
- Consultation and visits by Hospice team professionals as needed: Physician, Social Worker, Chaplain, Dietitian, Therapist (physical, occupational, speech), Pharmacist
- Volunteers to support patient and family
- Bereavement follow-up for 13 months
